Montana Branded Inc. was founded by two brothers and their wives in North East Montana. Our main sales are beef that are raised right here in Montana on the JLM Ranch Inc. - which is family owned and operated. We believe in knowing where our food comes from and take pride in our consistency and quality of beef. Due to the fact that we are involved in all aspects of each animals life, from birth to processing, we are able to guarantee each package of beef comes from a single animal. As a result, there is no need to blend the meat from multiple animals in “hope” of providing a consistently high-quality product. Our beef is grass fed/grain finished to improve marbling for increased flavor and dry-aged for 21 days to further enhance flavor and tenderness. Unlike many of our larger competitors, our beef is pasture raised with no hormones added to ensure consumer safety and maintain quality standards.
Our cattle spend a large majority of their lives grazing in large pastures on our ranch.
This technique is utilized to improve marbling for increased flavor. The water provided to each animal is fresh well-water, which is also used by the family.
Our meats are dry-aged for 21 days to further enhance flavor and tenderness.
To ensure consumer safety and maintain quality standards, no hormones are added to our beef.
