Montana Branded is a retail beef company located near Westby, MT and is owned and operated by Josh and Maggie Johnson. We offer individual cuts of retail beef that are USDA certified in a Federally inspected processing facility. All of our beef is born and raised right here in Montana on our family ranch. We are the 4th generation to own and operate our ranch and are passionate about producing a premium product on the land that has been passed down to us.
Our family believes in knowing where our food comes from and takes pride in our consistency and quality of beef. Due to the fact that we are involved in all aspects of each animal's life, from birth to processing, we ensure each package of beef comes from a single animal. Our beef is grass fed/grain finished to improve marbling for increased flavor and dry-aged to further enhance taste and tenderness. From our ranch to your table, we are proud to provide a product to you that is born in Montana and raised by the professionals, Your Local Rancher!
Our cattle spend a large majority of their lives grazing in large pastures on our ranch.
This technique is utilized to improve marbling for increased flavor. The water provided to each animal is fresh well-water, which is also used by the family.
Our meats are dry-aged to further enhance flavor and tenderness.
To ensure consumer safety and maintain quality standards, all our beef is USDA certified in a Federally inspected processing facility.
